RETURNS & EXCHANGES POLICY

We want you to love your GOOD purchase. If something isn’t quite right, we’re here to help.

This policy applies to products purchased online and/or in studio from Good Clothing and forms part of our Terms & Conditions. Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights.

RETURNS (7 DAYS)

You may return an item within 7 days of the date of purchase provided that:

  • The item is unused, unworn, and undamaged.

  • Original labels and/or stickers are still attached.

  • All accessories and parts are included.

  • The item has not been personalised or made to order (unless defective).

Once received, all returns are subject to inspection.

REFUNDS

  • Approved returns will be refunded to your original payment method within 8 days of receiving the item.

  • Please allow 5–10 working days for the refund to reflect in your account.

EXCHANGES (30 DAYS)

Items may be exchanged within 30 days of the date of purchase, subject to stock availability.

  • We will arrange a courier to collect the item and deliver the exchange at our cost.

  • Only one exchange per purchase is permitted.

  • Please include your delivery address and preferred collection date in your email.

SALE ITEMS

  • No cash refunds on SALE items.

Returned SALE items will be refunded as store credit only.

HOW TO RETURN OR EXCHANGE

Email studio@goodclothing.co.za within the relevant time period (7 days for returns, 30 days for exchanges).

If you’re Cape Town–based and able to drop off your return, we’d really appreciate it.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

Unfortunately, due to the high cost of logistics, we are unable to offer returns or exchanges on international orders.

DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS

We take pride in the quality of our garments. If you receive a defective item, please contact us as soon as possible.

A defect is a material imperfection in the manufacture of a product that makes it less acceptable than one would reasonably expect.

The following are not considered defects and do not qualify for return:

  • Normal wear and tear.

  • Damage caused by misuse, negligence, or incorrect care.

  • Damage from unauthorised alterations.

Items that are correctly described but do not suit personal preference.

CHARGES & NON-COMPLIANT RETURNS

  • If an item is returned without all original accessories, we reserve the right to refuse the return, replace only the returned item, or deduct the value of missing components.

  • Returns that do not meet this policy may incur collection and re-delivery charges.

HOLIDAY CLOSURE NOTICE

Please note that Good Clothing closes during certain holiday periods throughout the year. If our closure affects your ability to return or exchange an item within the specified timeframes, we will take this into account and make reasonable concessions. We always aim to be fair and flexible during holiday closures.
